Hungry Hill Project

Commodity: Poly-metallic base metals + gold (Zn-Cu-Pb-Ag-Au)

  • 300 km west of St. John’s, readily accessible by paved roads and well-maintained, all-weather gravel roads
  • Located in the world class poly-metallic Buchan’s mining camp with base metal and gold deposits
  • The Buchan’s mining complex is located 16 km to northwest
  • Duck Pond base metal deposit (Teck) is located 16 km to southeast
  • Buchan’s Historical Production: 16.2 Mt from five ore bodies, averaging 14.5% Zn, 1.3% Cu, 7.6% Pb, 126 g/t Ag and 1.4 g/t Au
  • Duck Pond Historical Production: 6.7 Mt averaging 4.3% Zn, 2.9% Cu, 0.8% Pb, 40 g/t Ag and 0.4 g/t Au
  • Historic drilling at the Hungry Hill project intersected 10.84 m grading 3.06% Zn, 0.16% Cu, 20.9 g/t Ag and 0.81 g/t Au (HH97-16)
  • In addition to geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys, 28 historic drill holes, totaling 8,667 m, have been completed on the property

Exploration Thesis

  • Critical Minerals Target – Cu, Zn, Pb, Au, Ag
  • The Hungry Hill mineralization is an attractive, under-explored Critical Minerals target with many similarities to Buchans style polymetallic VMS mineralization
  • Intersection of 3.06% Zn, 0.16% Cu, 20.9 g/t Ag and 0.81 g/t Au over 10.84 metres (HH97-16; 160.65-171.49m)
  • A composite sample of mineralized clasts taken from surface boulders assayed 20.1% Zn, 12.1% Pb, 0.6% Cu, 66 g/t Ag, and 0.3 g/t Au

Exploration Program

Exploration Plan and Budget

  • Evaluate the 1,500 m long mineralized domain at Hungry Hill
  • Drill test to confirm historic mineralized drill intersections
  • Evaluate property scale mineral potential
  • Total budget estimate – $350,000

Hungry Hill Target

  • Induced polarization survey
  • 5-10 drill holes, up to 1,500 m of drilling
  • Expand mineralization along strike/down dip
  • Complete downhole Pulse EM geophysics

Property Scale Exploration

  • Expand ground coverage at other base metal targets
  • UAV (drone) geophysics – magnetics
  • Trenching/Pitting on base metal targets
  • Surface sampling program
